Calmness and Aggressiveness
Calmness, humility and aggressiveness are three attitudes that help football teams manage pressure, maintain intensity and respond effectively to difficult moments.
Calmness and Aggressiveness
In football, this is a time for calmness, humility and aggressiveness. These seem to me to be the three attitudes coaches are asking most from their teams.
Calmness helps players take the field with a mind free from ghosts and worries. Humility means being able to play with the same desire and determination every week, without being influenced by previous results, league position or the opponent.
Aggressiveness is the counterweight to calmness. Calmness is confidence in your own abilities; aggressiveness is what allows you to compete for every ball for the full 90 minutes, with the physical and mental readiness needed to manage competitive stress when fatigue sets in and to turn difficult moments in the match around.
